Embedding the IR player widget

The IR player widget is a small video player you embed once on your investor relations page. It always shows the right event: the live webcast while it is on, otherwise the next upcoming one, otherwise the latest recording. Investors can open the archive from the widget and switch to any earlier IR event without leaving your page.

What the widget shows

The widget plays the public IR events of one category in your Videosync account, including the category’s subcategories. An event is part of the widget when all of these hold:

• The event’s Public IR event setting is on.
• The event is in the category you embed, or in one of its subcategories.
• The event is open to everyone. Events that require registration or a password are left out, because the widget plays inside your own page and cannot ask investors to register.
• The event is published. Events that are still being built are not listed.

The archive lists the events newest first and marks the one that is playing. A live event is marked Live both in the widget header and in the archive.

Which event opens when the page loads:

1. A live webcast, if one is on.
2. Otherwise the next upcoming event, so investors can see when the next call is.
3. Otherwise the latest recording.

Getting the widget URL

Your Videosync contact gives you the widget URL for your account. If you manage your events in Videosync yourself:

1. Open the category that holds your IR events.
2. Click IR widget in the top bar. The URL is copied to your clipboard.

The button is shown only on categories that contain at least one public IR event. If you cannot see it, check the list above.

The URL looks like this:

https://player.videosync.fi/en/widget/your-account/ir-events

The first part after the domain is the language of the widget. Replace en with your language, for example fi or sv.

Embedding the widget

Place the URL in an iframe on your page:

The widget sizes itself to its content. If you use iframe-resizer on your page, the iframe follows the widget’s height automatically; otherwise give it a fixed height, as above. See How to embed videos on your web page for the iframe-resizer setup.

You embed the URL once. There is nothing to update when you publish a new event: the widget resolves the current event every time the page loads.

Options

Add these to the end of the URL as query parameters, for example ?landing=vod or ?theme=light&landing=vod.

Parameter	What it does
landing=vod	Open the latest recording even when an upcoming event is published. A live webcast still opens first. Use this when you announce upcoming calls elsewhere on your page and want the widget to show the latest recording.
theme=light / theme=dark	Force a theme instead of the event’s own.
disable-registration=1	Hide the registration form on events that have one but do not require it.

Good to know

• Everything in the widget comes from the event itself: the title, the date, the slides and the recording. There is nothing to configure separately.
• The company logo in the widget header is your account logo.
• The widget uses the same player as your event pages, so chapters, slides and the transcript work the same way.
• If the category has no public IR event yet, the widget shows “No events are available yet” instead of an empty player, so you can embed it before your first event is published.
